Bottom Line:  Fairview is coming off a tough 8-11 season in which they failed to qualify for the post season.  The bright spot for 2017 is the fact that nearly all of their starters are back for this season.  Last year’s Knights team was young and rebuilding, this year they have a full season under their belt and look to return to competing at the 5A level.  Look for Stone Streeter, .400 with 22 hits and 7 doubles, Tyler Carpenter, .333 with 20 hits and 6 doubles and Josh Haensly, .375 avg. to pace the Knights offense.  On the mound, Fairview has all but 17 innings of experience coming back.  Matt Erickson will anchor a deep rotation coming off a 5-2 season with 71 K’s.  Tyler Carpenter who was 2-2 last season working 28 innings with 25 K’s will be a great complement to Erickson.
