Stat Rat: The Bulldogs got a lot of pitchers innings last year and finished with a team 2.29 ERA. 

Bottom Line: The Bulldogs have been steadily climbing the post season ladder each of the last three years, including a Final 8 appearance in 2014 a final 4 appearance in 2015 and an 8 inning loss to Mantou Springs 3-2 in 2016 in the State Championship play-in game.  This year University will turn to No. 190 2017 Beau Hawley,  .422 with 19 hits and 21 RBI, Levi Dart, .425 with 17 hits and 10 RBI, Noah Trujillo, .353 with 4 doubles and Paul Medina .385 with 20 hits, 12 RBI and 14 stolen bases to power the offense.  On the mound the Bulldogs will turn to Cameron Multer who was 5-0 in 2016 with 24 K’s and Kalob Padilla who racked up 13 innings in 2016 with 15 K’s.  Each season the Bulldogs seem to take another step closer to their ultimate goal, with so much experience coming back, we would expect University to once again be playing the last weekend in May.
