Jamanis flashed the top arm strength among position players on the day at 85 mph across the diamond at the Preseason College Prospects Showcase. The two-way prospect displayed solid footwork and fluid actions while making plays at both third base and shortstop. The right-handed hitter repeatedly barreled the baseball in batting practice from a slightly open stance while routinely staying inside the baseball. Jamanis' 88 mph bat exit velocity also was tops at the event. Jamanis sat 82-84 during a solid bullpen session in which he pounded the strike zone with three pitches. The righty utilizes a simple delivery with a quick arm out of a high 3/4 arm slot. His changeup displayed some cut action at 71 mph while his 75 mph curveball showed good bite and 11/5 rotation.
