Power 25: Week 7 Update

Week 7 of the Power 25 update is now live and we feature a new team at the top of the rankings. Green Bay Preble takes over the top spot holding onto a 23-0 record for the year. Eau Claire North drops to No. 2 after losing its first game in the state of Wisconsin to No. 13 Eau Claire Memorial.
Let’s take a look around the Power 25 with notes and upcoming matchups

Preble is the new No. 1 team in the state with an impressive 23-0 record this year. Last week the Hornets went 4-0 outscoring opponents 29-2.

Burlington drops from No. 5 to No. 8 after dropping a game to Wilmot and splitting with Waterford.

No. 14 Hortonville had a 4-0 week sweeping a three game set from Appleton North to move to 18-5 on the year.

Division 3 Coleman dropped its first game of the year to Wrightstown but still holds a 20-1 record on the season.

No. 24 Madison West is back in the rankings after a week hiatus. The Regents picked up a win against No. 11 Oconomowoc last Friday.

No. 25 Waterford makes its Power 25 debut this week with a 15-6 record on the season. Waterford picked up a win over No. 8 Burlington last week and owns a win over No. 4 Arrowhead on the season.

Chippewa Falls and Watertown dropped out of the Power 25 this week. Chippewa Falls has lost five of its last six games.
