Oshkosh West 4, Oshkosh North 1
Madison La Follette 7, Madison East 2
Luke Lanzendorf brought home the go-ahead run to give La Follette the lead in the sixth inning, as the Lancers hung on to beat Madison East 7-2 on Wednesday.
Lanzendorf racked up three RBI on two hits for La Follette Lancers Varsity.
Riley Anderson had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the sixth inning and doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.
Madison East couldn't get anything going against Mack Arnold. Madison East managed just three hits off of Arnold, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out four during his six innings of work.
La Follette was sparked by O'Brien and Anderson, who teamed up for seven hits and six RBI.
Division 2 Playoffs
Viroqua Sectional
Rice Lake 4, Hayward 2
Barron 9, Osceola 4
Nick Prill got the win for Barron. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out seven, walked three and surrendered four hits.
Barron's Jason Balts, Macky Mikunda and Neil Rasmussen combined for five hits and four RBI.
The lead stayed with Barron after the first, when it scored one run on an RBI double by Rasmussen.
Barron built upon its lead with four runs in the fifth. Connor Massie singled, bringing home Tyler Hanson to start the inning. That was followed up by Balts' single, plating Rece Dietrich.

Racine St. Catherine’s 8, Kenosha Indian Trail 2
The St. Catherine's Angels beat Indian Trail 8-2 in seven innings on Wednesday at Horlick Field after a five-run explosion in the sixth inning.
Jimmy Carrington got a hit in each of his three at bats. He singled in the third, fifth, and sixth innings.
Derek Heffel got the win for the St. Catherine's thanks to nine strikeouts. Heffel allowed two earned runs, two hits and two walks over seven innings.
The Angels were sparked by Eric Weisbrod and Carrington, who teamed up for four hits and three RBI.
Evansville Sectional
Lodi 11, Edgewood 1
Edgerton 7, Big Foot 4
Cam Wileman got the win for Edgerton. He allowed four runs over four innings. Wileman struck out five, walked five and gave up four hits.
Edgerton was sparked by Stephan Gausman and Evan Deegan, who teamed up for three hits and four RBI.
River Valley 12, Mount Horeb 2
Wisconsin Dells 5, Ripon 4
Wisconsin Dells and Ripon traded the lead seven times on Wednesday, but the Chiefs ended up on top with a 5-4 win in seven innings over Ripon.
Wisconsin Dells finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. They went up for good on an RBI double by Colyn Buss, plating Josh Gray.
Diggy Cimaroli racked up two RBI on two hits for Wisconsin Dells. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

David Menk went 2-for-3 at the plate, but Manitowoc Lutheran fell 10-4 to Gibraltar on Wednesday.
Amedee Savard got the win for Gibraltar. He allowed four runs over seven innings. Savard struck out eight, walked one and gave up four hits.

Jameson Lavery struck out 11 batters to lift the Parkview Vikings to a 3-1 win over Cuba City at Parkview in seven innings.
Charlie Thole paced the Vikings at the plate. Thole went 2-for-2 and scored two runs. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Three Lakes 18, Florence 14
Wausaukee 9, Gresham 0
The Gresham Community Wildcats fell 9-0 to Wausaukee.
Aaron Schiles recorded the win for Wausaukee. He tossed seven innings of shutout ball. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered two hits.
Zach Struve, Beau Delaet, Eddy Self and Cole Lewandowski helped lead Wausaukee. They combined for eight hits and six RBI.
Shell Lake Sectional
Prairie Farm vs. Bruce – PPD to 5/30
Washburn 7, Solon Springs 6
A tight game was decided in the eighth inning as Solon Springs fell to Washburn 7-6 in eight innings.
Tyler Long got on base four times in the game for Solon Springs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.
Brett Olson recorded the win for Washburn even though he allowed six runs over eight innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered 11 hits.

Lake Country Lutheran vs. Johnson Creek – PPD to 5/30
Barneveld 3, Shullsburg/Benton 2
Barneveld topped Shullsburg Benton 3-2 on Wednesday.
Pierce Russell went a perfect 2-for-2 at the dish for Shullsburg/Benton. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.
Tyler Hellenbrand recorded the win for Barneveld. He allowed one run over four innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.
Barneveld stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the third, scoring two runs on an error and an RBI single by Hellenbrand.
