At 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, Carter has the physical attributes that get your attention.  But it doesn't stop there.  He also has the athleticism that should make him a projectable player at the next level.  Carter posted a 6.88-second 60-yard sash at the recent Tennessee Smokies HS Baseball Showcase.  From the outfield he has a plus arm with good accuracy and carry on his throws.   He uses his speed well  defensively in showing good range.

At the plate, Carter has an open stance with an elongated stride but showed he has good timing in getting the front foot down.  He shows line drive ability by staying on top of the ball along with some power in the gaps, mostly right center.  With two years of high school remaining, Carter should impress scouts and earn a spot at the next level.
