Booker stands 5-foot-7, 145-pounds with room for growth. From the infield he charges the ball, fields down low and out in front, clean exchange, arm action is a little long but smooth, throws from a high-3/4 slot with arm strength showing 76 mph. At the plate he uses a stride for timing, short path to the ball, slightly inclined, nice extension out in front, exit velocity of a tee was 74 mph, home to first was 4.6, pro agility time was 4.63.

Analysis:
As a young sophomore, Booker has a small build but has the tools to progress at the next level. Behind the ball he has soft hands fielding the out in front showing good arm strength for his age at 76 mph. On the offensive side he’s got some pop and with some weight training this offseason I can see his numbers increase significantly. This is a player you want to keep your eye on over the next couple seasons.
