2025 PROSPECTS

2025 LHP Cam Caminiti (Saguaro, AZ)
Came in relief for the Scottsdale Dirtbags. Instantly impressed when learning this 2025 graduate was playing up in the 2023 tournament. Should be a follow for years to come. By watching him compete on the mound you wouldnt think he was 5'6" 125lbs. Young frame with a loose and athletic arm but also had strength. Low effort delivery. Pitch ability is advanced for age. Firm deceptive FB from his frame at 73-75mph. CV gave hitters trouble and was advanced even playing up. He also hit in the order and battled at the plate.

2024 PROSPECTS

2024 RHP/INF Brady Strohm (Chaparral HS, CA)
True two-way prospect who dominated a talented USA Prime Mountain during Trosky’s run to the tournament championship. Filled up the strike zone, yielding only one hit with no walks and five strikeouts in four innings work. A middle infielder on the mound, from his delivery to his arm, everything is athletic, loose and natural. Calm, confident demeanor, clean, full arm path, loose and quick out front. Fastball ranged between 76-78 mph, topping at 79, with cut action at times. Worked off his fastball, then started dropping a highly advanced breaking ball, 67-71 mph, that he toggled the shape from 10/4 power slurvish to a few that had more downer depth ... whichever the shape, the action was consistently late and sharp. High-level of moxie on the mound. … Carries that same level of quiet confidence in the box. Has a calm, quiet and balanced approach with loose hands and direct path to the ball. Lined a pair of hits in the game. 5-foot-11, 145-pound athletic build. As he physically develops, Strohm should be a highly coveted prospect in the future.

2024 RHP Matthew Champion (Orange Lutheran, AZ)
May have turned in the most impressive performance of the day on the mound. Ball jumps and shows ASR at times. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound prospect sat FB 81-83, T84 CB 67-68 with some depth. Tends to pull secondary to the glove side. Finished the day with 8k’s in his no-hitter. High level prospect or the Scottsdale Dirtbags.

2024 OF/RHP Julian Areliz (USA Prime, CA)
An athletic 6-foot, 160-pound two-way talent, Areliz impressed at the plate during the first two days. On Sunday, he got the start on the mound. Ran his fastball up to 81 mph, settled in the 77-79 range. Inconsistent around the strike zone. As he continues to refine the timing of his delivery, Areliz should continue to develop into a hard-throwing pitcher down the road.

2024 C Dylan Raiola (Trosky National)
Physical 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed hitting catcher with a strong lower half. Balanced and strong in the box, delivered a big hit during Trosky’s semi final victory. Showed above-average arm strength and receives well for age.

2024 Chris Humphrey (Tucson Champs)
Carries himself really well both in the field and at the plate. The smaller framed left-handed hitter, lacks present strength but has a solid approach with plate discipline. Intent to do damage to the RCF gap

2024 Chris Newstrom (Chaparral, AZ)
Continued to shine as of the top prospect in a loaded 14U playing field. The 6-foot-0, 165 pound narrowly missed a HR to the LCF gap. The Scottsdale Dirtbag product does not miss barrels. Legitimate power potential at this level, and the next.

2023 PROSPECTS

2023 LHP Adolfo Sanchez (Mountain Point HS, AZ)
High-follow prospect in the 2023 class. Came out of the pen for the Arizona Athletics Founders Club, and left a lasting impression during his one-inning stint. Thin, narrow-shouldered, young frame with a loose, highly athletic arm. Maintains excellent rhythm throughout low-effort delivery, arm works free and easily in the back, athletic, loose and quick out front. Fastball ranged between 78-80 with slight arm-side run - plenty more in the tank as he physically matures. Only threw a few breaking balls, but they were advanced. Showed potential to be a true putaway pitch, 68-70 mph, power slurve shape, tight spin, back-footed a right-handed hitter for a strikeout.

2023 LHP Remington Robbins (Riverton HS, UT)
Highly projectable 6-foot-3, 160-pound left-handed pitcher with long limbs and plenty of room to physically develop. Low-effort arm action and delivery, loose and easy out front coming out of a 3/4 slot; hides it well. Fastball ranged between 75-78 mph; should see significant velocity gains down the road as he physically develops and incorporates his lower half. High-upside prospect to follow for USA Prime Mountain.

2023 SS/OF Nuri Todd (Brophy College Prep, AZ)
Premium, high-level athlete with big upside. Long-limbed, high-waisted 5-foot-11, 133-pound left-handed hitting middle infielder. Possesses game-changing speed. Beat out a routine chopper to second base, 4.18 down the line. Three-sport athlete. Looks to be a high-level national prospect with more refinement.

2023 SS/RHP Owen Wade (Pinnacle HS, AZ)
Athletically built 6-foot, 160-pound two-way player. Showcased a balanced, compact loose swing that produced two line drives at the third baseman. Also hopped on the mound and threw strikes with his 74-77 fastball.

2023 RHP Manny Soto (Kaiser HS, CA)
Threw a gutty 9-hit complete-game to help lead MVP Hustle to a 4-3 semifinal victory over the Arizona Athletics Founders Club. Struck out two, walked two. Competed well on the mound, threw high-volume of strikes with his 72-75 fastball.

2023 LHP Aidan Sandvick (Desert Vista, AZ)
Started for DV Thunder and had good outing & mound presence from a Tall lean frame with long limbs. With delivery refinement he has a chance to be an arm to follow. Aidan did showed some athleticism through delivery with a short stride landing across his body creating deception. Fluid separation into whipy arm action. Minimal follow through. FB was 74-75MPH with more there. CV was average at 65-67mph.

2023 RHP Dillon Roberts (Cactus Shadows, AZ)
Came out strong for AZ Athletics with a trip to the championship game on the line. From a strong thick build at 5'11" 210lbs, he displayed a relatively powerful arm. Slow but easy controlled tempo in his delivery. Gathered his energy in his back side well even messing with batters timing as part of his delivery. Arm seemed to work. He worked his FB 81-83MPH with a 67-69mph CV that was thrown for strikes early.

2023 INF Garren Rizzo (Palos Verdes, CA)
Set the tone from the leadoff spot for the 2023 Champions Trosky National all weekend. High energy player from a large athletic build. Hits from a medium slightly open base. Small leg kick trigger. Gap to gap approach. Barreled balls up to all fields consistently. Barrels stays in the zone. High motor always looking to take extra bases. Defensively, he showed a good glove & actions with carry across the diamond. He even got on the mound and was up to 81mph. High follow.

2023 INF Dom Puentes (Kerman, CA)
Was another player from a loaded Championship Trosky squad that we followed all weekend. Dom displayed one of the more aggressive approaches to hitting all weekend. From a large 5'11" 155lbs he looks more physical. Shows a real ability to hit & drive the baseball. He looks to pull the ball with authority but stays within himself well at the same time. Creates leverage from a slightly narrow open stance with a medium leg kick. Resists forward movement to create rotational power. The bat should be followed going forward.2023 INF Dom Puentes (Kerman, CA) was another player from a loaded Championship Trosky squad that we followed all weekend. 2023 RHP Eli Martinez (Valley Christian, CA)
Started the championship game for Trosky baseball and didn't disappoint. Projectable Large frame with plenty of room to fill out physically. Displayed a natural delivery with some fast twitch movements mixed in. Showed a FB with sinking action at 79-82 T83mph that seemed to explode out of his hand at times. Threw a 11/5 breaking ball with tight spin that lacked a little control at times but was tough to pick up from downhill plane.2023 RHP Eli Martinez (Valley Christian, CA) started the championship game for Trosky baseball and didn't disappoint. 2022 PROSPECTS

2022 RHP Armani Raygoza (Bel Air, TX)
Pitched for the AZ Nationals of El Paso that made a strong run this weekend. Showing easy effort from a large physically strong frame, he seemed calm and collective about his business. Showed a heavy FB from 76-79 T80 with a located CV thrown with less intent. Commanded two pitches for strikes.

2021 PROSPECTS

2021 SS Ty Nelson (Saguaro, AZ)
Is the older brother of 2023 Tanner Nelson that we wrote up yesterday. Ty plays for the XMEN Select 16U team that won the championship this weekend. Ty is a high energy player from a Medium athletic frame with some strength. He was one of the better defensive SS's we saw this weekend. He has quick movements with easy actions. Footwork and glove are solid. Rounds the ball for added arm strength & carry towards 1B. Leadoff type hitter that looks to spray line drives over the M-INF. Underrated pop & player.

2021 RHP Casey Parsons (Pinnacle, AZ)
Threw a 6 inning, run rule shortened no-hitter. The 6-foot-1, 185 pound utility player for the Scottsdale Firebirds, sat 80-82 all day and threw CB 66-69 in any count. The max effort delivery, lack of projectable arm strength, and the offensive tool help Parsons profiles long term as more of a MIF, but really good showing today.

2021 C Anthony Runfola (Brophy Prep, AZ)
May be the best throwing backstop we saw the the PBR Fall Championships this weekend. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Team Dinger product was consistently 2.08-2.14 and on the bag with carry. Also showed pure arm strength, when he successfully back picked a base runner from his knees.

2021 Reed Interdonato (Horizon, AZ)
Strong, broad shouldered RHP at 6-foot-3, 196-pounds. The Scottsdale Firebirds product sat, 81-83, T84. CB 68-70. CH 73. Slightly crossbodied delivery, but does a great job with keeping his upper body in line. There is definitely more in the tank with Interdonato. Three pitch mix for strikes in all counts, even if the CH is more for show at this time. Competes in the strike zone consistently.

2020 PROSPECTS

2020 SS Dusty Schraeder (Mission Bay, CA)
put together numerous quality at-bats for the Solana Beach Redbirds. Quick twitch athlete who can really run. Has shown the ability to really pick it. Arm strength may move him to the other side of the bag in college but will continue to be a high level defender.
