SUPER 60: DIAMOND KINETICS EXPERT ANALYZES JAKE TAYLOR'S SWING
Casey Roche from Diamond Kinetics administered a Swing Tracker hitting station at the Super 60 Pro Showcase on Feb. 5. Roche, who helps implement Diamond Kinetics’ Swing Tracker with top college programs across the country, broke down Jake Taylor’s swing using the analytics from the Swing Tracker station. Taylor, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound Oklahoma State recruit, put on an offensive show at the Super 60.

Jake Taylor, a right-handed hitting catcher from Oklahoma, was rocketing balls to all fields in BP at the Super 60 Pro Showcase. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given some of the eye-popping data we collected using Diamond Kinetics SwingTracker.

ON THE HUNT: POWER AND SPEED, POSITION PLAYERS

This week, On the Hunt, takes a look at some of the athletic position players that have popped up throughout the country at PBR events. Some have continued to cement themselves as national prospects, and others have opened eyes as potential high-level players. Included in the list are five athletic outfields with a combination of speed and potential power as well as long, loose shortstop, and a strong, power-hitting first baseman. Represented in the group of seven are players from IL, IN, MI, NJ, OK, PA.
Several states in Prep Baseball Report's coverage area have their own scout blog, covering the landscape of high school baseball to no end. The Draft Blog compiles any of those entries pertinent to the current draft year so you can read it in one, central location. The 2017 Major League Baseball Draft takes place in June and there are plenty of prospects within PBR's coverage that anticipate hearing their name called.
