D1 BASEBALL/PREP BASEBALL REPORT TOP 100
D1Baseball.com and Prep Baseball Report are teaming up on some preview coverage of the 2017 Major League Baseball Draft, which takes place June 12-14. First up is a Top 100 ranking, combining the respective college and high school lists put together by Frankie Piliere and Nathan Rode. Both will also participate in a chat with readers, which can be found here.
The 2017 MLB Draft is less than two weeks away and the only thing that seems to be clear is who the top five prospects are. In what order they will be picked is still anybody’s guess.
The inaugural D1Baseball.com/Prep Baseball Report Top 100 starts with RHP Hunter Greene (Notre Dame HS, CA). The UCLA recruit would become the first high school righty taken with the first pick, if that’s the way the Minnesota Twins decide to go.

THE HOTLIST: LOOKING BACK ON COLLEGE PROSPECTS
By Nathan Rode

On Tuesday, D1 Baseball and Prep Baseball Report teamed up to release a Top 100 ranking of college and high school prospects in the 2017 draft class. Several of the college prospects have a well-documented history with the Prep Baseball Report. Some were standouts at past events and clear future prospects. Others showed the ability to play at the Division I level, but have developed into something more. Here is a look at some notable college prospects in the Top 100 and some of their history. The numbers indicate their rank in the Top 100.
4. Brendan McKay, LHP/1B, Louisville
McKay was a top recruit for Louisville and gained national notoriety with his scoreless innings streak for Blackhawk HS, PA. Since then, he has entered the discussion as a possible candidate for No. 1 overall pick and is a legitimate first-round prospect as a pitcher and hitter.
ON THE HUNT: COMMITTED STARS HEADLINE FL/TX EVENTS

@ShooterHunt
The PBR Florida Procase and PBR Texas Houston Underclass Trials featured multiple, highly-talented, committed players who each showed off their impressive skills. These players have a chance to shine at the collegiate level, and also have a good shot at being high draft picks in their respective draft year. As we approach the 2017 MLB Draft, here are some of the names that stood out to me as names to remember moving forward.
