Sunday Wrap Ups 

Game 6: All Out 17u 6, Jersey Shore Raiders 5

The Raiders jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning when '20 Brian Beckmann (Ocean City HS, NJ) walked and '18 SS GianCarlo Palmieri (Hammonton HS, NJ) singled.  With two outs and the bases loaded, Mike Ott helped his own cause by driving in two with a single.

All Out answered in the bottom half when '19 INF/C Jared Hernandez (Cherry Hill West HS, NJ) and Colin McCormick (Bonner-Prendergast HS, NJ) scored with the help of a couple of errors. The Raiders added one on a Beckmann sac fly in the second and a '20 Bobby Esau (Hammonton HS, NJ) sac fly in the third. 

All Out exploded for three runs in the second inning. McCormick continued to come up clutch with a big two run single through the ride side of the infield, which would put All Out ahead for good.

Both teams would trade runs late in the game, before the final in six innings due to time limit.

Semi Finals: 

All Out 16u Royal 6, All Out 17u 1

The 16u All Out squad continued to slug their way to victory in the tournament. 2019 3B Josh Crowding (Kingsway HS, NJ) homered and drove in another run with a sac fly. He finished with 3 RBI. 2019 C Kevin Savage (Timber Creek HS, NJ) and 2019 3B Joe Dalsey (Shawnee HS, NJ) both doubled and scored runs.

All Out 16u advances to the championship game, awaiting the final of Miller Baseball and the South Jersey Sand Sharks.

Miller Baseball 1, South Jersey Sand Sharks 0 (10 innings)

The second second semifinal game featured superb pitching on both sides, as both starters went 7 innings, with Miller Baseball’s '20 RHP Connor Duddy (Lower Moreland HS, PA) going a CG 10 IP for the win. Sand Shark’s '19 RHP Trevor Brenner (Absegami HS, NJ) went pitch for pitch with Duddy, going 7 IP, scattering just 3 hits and striking out 5. '18 LHP Ryan Hillesheim (Absegami HS, NJ) came in for Brenner to add 2+ innings in relief.

It took Miller Baseball until the bottom of the 10^th to walkoff, when the bases were loaded for Eli Kushner. Kushner lifted a flyball to right field that scored the lone run of the game, advancing Miller to the Finals against All Out 16u.

FINALS

 All Out 16u Royal 15, Miller Baseball 5

It was all All Out in the finals, as the 16u Royal team rolled to win the championship of the PBR Summer Classic, 15-5. '19 OF Ben Smith (West Deptford HS, NJ) led the offensive attack, going 2-2 with a double and 3 RBI. '19 Jonathan Burlingame (Kingsway HS, NJ) was 1-2 with 2 RBI and '19 Zach Fidelibus (Cardinal O'Hara HS, PA) scored 2 runs. Jack Murphy (West Deptford HS, NJ) and Joe Dalsey combined to win the game for All Out on the mound.

 

MVP: Joe Dalsey, OF/RHP, Shawnee HS, NJ 2019

Dalsey batted .500 (5-10) with a HR, 2 2B, 9 RBI, and 4 runs scored. He hit a grand slam and drove in 7 runs in an earlier game in the tournament.
