STRYKER, OH - With a majority of the games rained out in the state, there still were some played and PBR got to see a classic in NW Ohio. Edon, ranked No. 22 in Division IV and Stryker, who is in first place in the Buckeye Border Conference squared off with their respected aces on the mound.
Stryker's junior RHP Parker Ruffer (CG, 11 Ks) and Edon's unsigned senior River Wicker (CG, 13 Ks) matched each other pitch-for-pitch, but the junior Ruffer got the last laugh in the 4-3 win in walk-off fashion.
In the seventh inning, Edon got an insurance run as Senior shortstop Brock Thiel blooped a double, later scoring on an RBI triple by senior Jacob Brown to go up 3-1.
