PBR OK Player of the Week: Week Seven
April 18, 2022
There were multiple standouts throughout the State in week 7 but none got it done on both sides of the ball quite like Landon Flusche from Broken Arrow. The 2023 grad worked a 6-inning shutout on Monday night allowing only two hits and punching out 14 of the 18 recorded outs. Flusche has seen his stuff take continue to improve year over year and is starting to match that perfectly with the pitchability he showed as a sophomore. He's also not to be taken lightly at the plate. The 4-hole hitter also picked up 7 hits in 11 trips and was a run-producing force for the Tigers driving in 7 runs on the week. Broken Arrow will continue to look for Landon to pitch them into wins on Monday nights throughout the rest of the Spring as well as provide that run-producing protection behind some of the talented hitters in front of him in the lineup.
