BMO HARRIS BANK "MOST OUTSTANDING PLAYER"
The award goes to LHP Reid Detmers of No. 8 Chatham Glenwood. Detmers started the Thursday night game against No. 9 O'Fallon which turned out to be the most electric of the tournament. The talented southpaw was nearly untouchable in the nightcap. The Louisville commit drew a hefty crowd of pro scouts and did not disappoint as contact was at a minimum, striking out all but one of his 12 outs in four innings of work with a lively 89-91 mph fastball.
