- Prospect Notes -

- 6-foot-5 RHP Ben Shenosky (2022) is sitting 78-81 from a an easy, repeatable 3/4 delivery. Showing feel for his changeup at 70-72 and a slurve at 62-65. Has allowed 2 hits through 3 scoreless innings.

- 6-foot-3 RHP Dinzey Feliz (2022) has allowed 2 runs through 3 complete innings. Sitting 79-82 out of a 3/4 arm slot with some hip swivel and a high knee stack. Shows feel for a changeup at 70-71 and a curveball with 11/5 rotation at 69-72.

- Shenosky is still in complete command through 5 innings, allowing just 2 hits. Fastball velo has dipped to 77-78, but still showing command of slurve and changeup.

- Pair of 2022 catchers have stood out in this one. Ryan Flury (Bombers) and RJ Rickabaugh (GoWags) both show above average receiving skills and advanced catch and throw abilities. Flury has some juice in his right-hand swing and Rickabaugh has similar offensive abilities from the left-hand side.

- Generals answer back with two runs of their own. Charlie Evans (1B, R), Aidan Quinn (2B, RBI, R) and Max McGrady (1B, RBI) all continue to square the baseball up with regularity.

- Hawks keep up torrid pace with the bats with 5 more hits and 5 more runs to take 7-2 lead to the bottom of the 2nd.

- An awesome diving catch in left field by Be3rd.n Rodgers (Generals) is followed up by a run scoring triple from 2022 SS Ryan Weingartner (Hawks). Hawks lead 8-3 moving to the bottom of the 3rd.

- Prospect Notes

- 2022 SS Ryan Weingartner has put together a solid day. He shows solid range and above average arm strength defensively. The right-handed hitter has shown solid barrel awareness at the plate and the ability to use all fields.

- 2021 C/CIF Carlos Cruz has shown versatility defensively. The primary catcher is athletic enough to move out from behind the plate and play multiple positions. Offensively Cruz has gone 3-for-3 with a walk on the day. 5-foot-10, 170-pound frame has room to add strength.
