PBR: What schools have expressed interest in you?
STALZER: Iowa Western CC, Iowa Central CC, DMACC, Southwestern CC, Cloud County CC, Marshalltown CC along with several DII and DIII programs.
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future?
STALZER: I had a great visit at Iowa Western and am looking forward to visiting Iowa Central, DMACC, and others in the near future.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
STALZER: I am looking for a school that is a good fit for me academically and a baseball program where I can continue to develop as a player and contribute to a winning culture.
PBR: What were some of your highlights during your junior year?
STALZER: Some highlights were being a regular starter at Valley, playing multiple positions in the infield and outfield, and improving my control and breaking pitches on the mound.
PBR: What are your goals for this year?
STALZER: My goal for the upcoming season is to help lead Valley to the state tournament. We have a solid group of seniors returning along with some impressive underclassmen with varsity experience. I have continued to work hard in the weight room to improve my overall athleticism and strength. I expect to be a consistent upper 80’s guy on the mound and hit for a high average and be a run producer offensively.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
STALZER: I also play football for Valley.
PBR: What is your ACT and GPA?
STALZER: I scored a 20 on the ACT and have a 3.2 GPA.
