Davion Downey, LHP/OF, Warren East HS, 2017
Scouting Report 7/26/15 - The 6-foot, 197-pound lefty hadn’t pitched in two months (did not pitch for summer ball team) before he took the mound for Team PBR in last weekend’s tournament at WKU. Downey’s arm action is clean, and he ran his fastball up to 85 mph in working three innings. While he struggled some with his command in the second inning, he battled through three innings. Downey is an interesting left-hander and will pitch one inning for Team KY at the event.

Gillim reportedly showed more velocity pitching for the Orlando Scorpions this summer. He finished his 5.1 inning outing allowing no hits with three walks and nine strikeouts against the Ironmen 16U team.
