PBR Draft 100 Spotlight: Jordon Adell

One of the better athletes in the 2017 class, OF/RHP Jordon Adell (Ballard HS, KY) looks the part with his 6-foot-3, 200-pound frame. His raw tools are undeniable on offense and defense. He is a plus runner, turning in a 6.4-second 60 at the Tournament of Stars and a 6.56 at East Coast Pro last summer, and has flashed a plus arm from the outfield.

Scouting Report

8/9/16 - Showed off one of his plus tools today when a single was lined hard into right field in the sixth inning. There were runners on first and second with the White Sox up by two. With two outs, the runner rounding third and scoring didn’t mean much so Adell came up firing to third. It was a missile and right on target, but just a hair late. However, the umpire called the runner out. In all honesty, he was safe, but that didn’t make the throw any less impressive.

8/8/16 - Hit the ball hard twice in two at-bats, launching a two-run home run in his first that would have cleared the old dimensions at Blair Field. In his second at-bat, he was robbed of a base hit when he smoked a ball at the third baseman, who made a lucky pick and got the out at first.
