We recently updated and expanded our 2022 state rankings for Oregon. With the update came some changes at the top as there is a new #1 player in the state for that senior class

After a dominant run from the beginning of the spring season all the way through the end of summer, ‘22 LHP Nelson Keljo (Jesuit/Oregon State) lands in the #1 spot for our 2022 state rankings.

Ultra physical at 6’4, 210 lbs. Keljo’s multi-sport background and training regimen helped shape him into a versatile athlete who is slowly continuing to add more polish and experience on the mound. As with most pitchers from colder weather areas, he’s a low mileage arm who hasn’t been overworked at an early age and remains projectable.
