On the Hunt: Uncommitted Underclass Outfielders

By Shooter Hunt
National Crosschecker

This week, On the Hunt takes a look at some of the top uncommitted, underclass outfielders across the country including some impact bats and impressive athletes.

Briar Stinson, OF, Rushville-Industry, IL, 2020
Stinson may be just a freshman, but he already has the makings of a player that the baseball world should take note of. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound outfielder has a short, simple path to the ball, and his barrel stays an impressive amount of time in the zone. The simplicity to his swing does nothing to take away from his impressive present gap to gap power. Stinson has long strides, and shows the physical traits and athleticism of a player that will gain speed as he continues to mature. Overall, Stinson is a high level recruit who will make an impact at the next level.
