Just days away from the 2017 Future Games, and the fourth region which is made up of players from many of the old Big 8 conference states, is featured in this edition of, On the Hunt. Some of the heaviest recruiting may very well be done in this region because it draws a line down the middle of the country, and schools from coast to coast will feel they have a chance to attract the talents of each of the players. Colorado, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas are all represented on the list with multiple two-way players, big arms, and athletes in the list of 7 players that are highlighted. Look for each one to attract plenty of interest throughout the week, along with many of the others that are on the rosters.
Tre' Morgan 1B / OF / Brother Martin , LA / 2020Rankings State Rank:5 POS:1
The strong, athletic, 6-foot, 180-pound 1B/OF has continued to progress at a rapid rate, and already shows signs of blossoming into a potential power-hitter in the future. Morgan ran a 6.92 60-yard dash at PBR Louisiana’s recent Underclass Games, and also showed off the ability to drive the ball from gap to gap with present pull side power. The left-handed hitter shows off quick, twitchy hands with strength through the zone on an uphill path. At first base, he demonstrates clean, sure hands and a quick release while his athleticism should give him the ability to also play in the outfield.
