In this installment of, On the Hunt, Louisiana and Arkansas take center stage as the prospects in those states have already begun making their marks on the summer of 2017. Each player features plenty of upside to entice prospective recruiters, and have a strong chance of developing into even better prospects in the future.

With many events kicking off last weekend, and On the Hunt travelling to New Jersey and Ohio, keep an eye out for much more content the rest of this week.

Cayden Wallace 3B / RHP / Greenbrier, AR / 2020

A late add to what may end up being one of the top events of the summer, Wallace was the youngest player on the field at the Arkansas All State Game. But that didn’t stop him from being one of the more impressive players. The right-handed hitter showed why he is one of the top players in the 2020 class, and displayed present pull side power with quick hands and a strong, 5-foot-10, 175-pound frame. His load is still a bit unorthodox, but looks smoother than last summer/fall, and he shows the ability to create an upward angle to get balls in the air and drive them out of the park. He also hopped on the mound at the event, and ran his fastball up to 88 mph, and may have a chance to help a team at the next level as both a position player and pitcher.
