September will be upon us this week, which means one thing...our first fall event of 2017 is right around the corner. Our Eastern New York All-Star Games at Marist College will be held Sunday September 17, 2017 featuring 68 players split into 4 teams. Today we look at the catcher's that will be in attendance and what to expect:

Eastern NY All-Star Games / Catchers

Nicholas Winslow C / Saratoga Central Catholic, NY / 2020

Plenty to like here from his line drive stroke to on the bag 2.0 range throws. Plenty of room for physical gains to his 5-foot-11 145 pound frame.

Seth Reisman C / 2B / Fayetteville-Manlius, NY / 2019

Short, compact stroke. Above average foot-speed for a backstop at 6.93 - 60. Exchange and footwork will play, looking to see increased arm strength.

Adam Webber C / 2B / Guilderland , NY / 2019

Aggressive, get-after-it leg kick approach at the plate. Wiry frame at 5-foot-10 160 pounds. Quick feet and exchange with room for the arm to improve.

Ben Lavery C / OF / Shenendehowa, NY / 2019

Newcomer to the PBR-NY scene from a strong Capitol Region program. Impressive, physical frame at 6-foot-3 210 pounds.

Colin Williams C / East Syracuse-Minoa, NY / 2019

All-around athlete with above average bat speed. Arm plays with room to lessen pop times to sub 2.0 with improvements in transfer (being more in-sync with his footwork).

Jacob Parker C / Cicero-North Syracuse , NY / 2020

Foundational abilities are there, scrappy approach at the plate. When he physically matures he'll be a player that climbs into and up the rankings.

Justin Maler C / Bellport, NY / 2019

Repeatable, easy effort swing. Acurate arm with some carry. Looking forward to seeing him and his progress over the last 8 months from the Long Island Top Prospect event.

Jake Manderson C / OF / Ballston Spa, NY / 2019

Solid athlete at 6-foot-1 170 pounds. Above average arm with impressive exit velo/barrel speed. Expecting a lights out day from this backstop.
