Eastern PA Top Prospect Games (6/20/19)
5-foot-11, 150-pound right-handed hitter starts from a square stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to start. Displayed balance throughout with a feel for the barrel and a line drive approach. Registered a bat exit velocity of 79 mph and ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. Showcased active feet while consistently playing through the baseball with 81 mph arm strength across the diamond. The righty sat 78-79 out of a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound. Pounds the zone and repeats his delivery with consistency. Curveball showed 11/5 rotation at 65-66 and also showed a feel for his changeup at 71-72.
WHAT TO EXPECT
"Bunn's frame continues to develop, adding an inch and 5 pounds since mid June with plenty of room for additional gains. Demonstrates the ability to stay in the zone with his swing path and will continue to develop more pop. The athleticism is there up the middle and we'll be looking for the actions to be fluid throughout as the arm is enough to stick to the left side and he can make the play on the move. Perhaps the ceiling is the highest on the mound where he's shown the ability to mix-and-match his FB and CB with more velocity to come. Potentially a break out year for the 2021 dual player"
