Oklahoma Power 25 Rankings: Week Seven
April 18, 2022
Week 7 in the books and the parity around the State continues to shine. 8 of the top ten teams went home with losses this week as well as some beating up on each other. Choctaw moves up to the number 2 slot after another impressive week swinging the bats and collecting 2 top ten wins. The Sandites continue to climb after another week full of wins. Edmond Santa Fe is starting to show some signs of heating up. Enid quietly has continued to put up one of the better resumes in the State similar to what they did last April. Victory Christian moves into the Power 25 after continuing to rack up victories.
As we begin to look towards the end of the year, a better picture of where we might end up at the end of the season is starting to take shape. The entire season resume is taken into consideration as well as how some teams have been trending up or down in the past couple of weeks. Rankings are determined by outcome of games, quality of opponent, and a heavier weighting towards district game wins. All records are pulled off of OSSAA Rankings website.
