Grady Davenport was the difference maker in this one. The Cowley County commit ended the game in the bottom of the eighth with a walk-off two RBI double. Davenport also had another hit an RBI early in the game. Isaac Muncy-Reyes also made big contributions to the offence going 2-for-4 with a double, RBI, run scored, and a sac. For the Bruins, Oral Roberts commit A.J. Archambo had an impressive day at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk.

It was all pitching in this one. Braden Pierce was effective through six innings, not allowing a run on two hits, walking four, and striking out seven. Colton Troxell was effective in relief, earning the save. Red hot Ambren Voitik was 2-for-4 with a run scored, supplying all the offence the Plainsman would need. For Bixby, Oklahoma commit Jake Bennett started the game giving up one earned run on one hit, five hits, five walks, and five strikeouts. Trent Ridder was dominant in relief for the Spartans, going four innings, giving up just one hit, one walk, and striking out five.

This was a game of big innings. Broken Arrow put of eight runs in the bottom of the third, but Deer Creek came right back with seven of their own in the top of the fourth. Offensively, the middle of the order for Broken Arrow was outstanding. Seminole State commit Mack Chambers III was 3-for-4 with a double, RBI, and run scored. Tucker Dunlap was also 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI’s and an run scored. For Deer Creek, Mitchell Stone had a career day at the dish, going 3-for-3 with two home runs, a double, four RBI’s, three runs scored, and a walk. Kenny Yetter also had a big day going 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.

The swing of the day came from Sam Smith, who launched a walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth. Smith also walked and was hit by a pitch. Zac DeLong was solid on the mound for MacArthur going seven innings giving up three runs on, two earned, on eight hits, four walks and four strikeouts. For Duncan, it was Adam Ridley producing, going 2-for-3 with a double.

Nollan Koon had a big day out of the lead-off spot for Yukon, going 3-5 with a home run, two RBI’s, and a run scored. Braylen Wimmer was also productive at the dish, going 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI’s, and a run scored. Dom Trevino was the bright spot for Edmond Santa Fe, going 3-for-4 and made a web gem catch in center field.
