The North Florida Open featured a few young, talented 2019 players who will certainly play in college. In fact, two of these players, who arguably had the best performances at the event, attend the same high school—Ocala Trinity Catholic.

OF/LHP Jud Fabian showed off some advanced tools and skills that easily play at the varsity level. The 6-foot, 155-pound Fabian possesses a lean, athletic and projectable body and showed loose and easy actions in the outfield, at the plate and on the mound. His throws were accurate, had great carry and were head-high at 85 mph. Offensively, has a consistent, easy swing plane that stays through the zone and he uses his lower half very well. He repeatedly drove line droves to all fields, including a few that were deep to both gaps and center field. From the mound Fabian has an easy and repeatable delivery that allows him to fill up the zone with all three pitches. His fastball was clocked up to 81 mph and he will undoubtedly add velocity with age and strength.

C/OF Bryce Boone also possesses a couple of tools that are well beyond his age. Boone, who stands at 6-foot, 175 pounds, has an athletic and projectable frame with good strength. From the outfield he has a short, over the top arm action and threw accurately and on line at 81 mph. At catcher he shows a plus arm for his age and consistently threw a 2.00-2.03 down to second. At the plate the ball really jumps off his bat and he has a nice swing plane through the zone. Boone already possesses some raw power that will only increase as he matures and adds muscle.

Both of these freshmen have a bright future ahead of them and being a part of a program like Trinity Catholic will only enhance their development. Both of them will likely be on varsity this season and one of them, if not both of them, will contribute right away for their team.
