OR/WA Procase: 9 to Know

The PBROregon/Washington Procase officially kicked off the 2021 MLB Draft year in the Northwest on July 1st with a collection of the top prospects in the region going through a full workout before competing in game play. More than 20 MLB scouts were in attendance to get a first glimpse at prospective draftees including multiple live at-bats from position players and innings from pitchers. The Pacific Northwest continues to be highly valued amongst MLB clubs with multiple seven-figure signing bonuses being inked by Oregon/Washington high school products each of the past two seasons including first round picks, OF Corbin Carroll (Lakeside HS, WA 2019) and RHP Mick Abel (Jesuit HS, OR 2020).


Below, nine committed prospects are listed as players of note who stood out on the day for their performance and projection. Each of the listed players possesses considerable upside as players of note in the region.
