PBR OK hosted the third annual Summer Underclass Prospect Games at Oklahoma State University. Nearly 80 players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff and the entire staff from Oklahoma State.

Today, we take a look at the 10 LHPs from the event.
Drew Blake LHP / Stillwater , OK / 2021A 6-foot-2, 180-pound proportional frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an abbreviated wind up with a big rocker step bringing hands over his head and using a big leg kick before striding way down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and fluid in the back before coming through an over the top slot with arm speed. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 80-83 at this event (weeks later Blake was up to 87). Curveball shows some tight spin and late depth with 1/7 shape at 71-73 mph. Changeup shows some fade thrown with fastball arm speed at 70-71 mph. Nearly all strikes with all three pitches. Punched out four of six batters he faced. |
Drake Fittro OF / LHP / Choctaw, OK / 2024A developing 5-foot-9, 140-pound frame with some wiry strength. On the mound, the left-hander works only from the stretch with an up, down, and out leg kick before striding to the dish and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and controlled in the back, turning over early over, before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 67-71 mph. Changeup shows some fade at 61-62 mph. |
Jackson Hodge LHP / OF / Bethany, OK / 2022A 5-foot-9, 145-pound lean and developing frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with some rhythm and a controlled leg kick before striding down mound, sinking into his front side, and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and quick in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of his arm stroke before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball flashes big cut at times 74-77 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows slurvy action with some depth at 67-69 mph. Punched out one and drew week contact form the other four batters he faced. |
Hank Horton LHP / 1B / Broken Arrow, OK / 2023A long and lean 6-foot-2, 160-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the left-hander works with a controlled and deliberate tempo with high leg kick, finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long and controlled in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows consistent and late arm-side run at 73-74 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows 12/6 shape with rolling action at 59-60 mph. In the game, punched out two in a quick inning of work. |
Emanuel Jeter OF / LHP / Tuttle, OK / 2021A 5-foot-9, 155-pound athletic frame with some strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a simple and controlled delivery with a moderate leg kick before finishing to the dish. Arm action has moderate length in the back, fast with a quick change of direction at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball shows consistent arm-side run at 76-77 mph, almost all strikes. Curveball shows tight and consistent spin with 1/7 shape. |
Dondi King Jr. LHP / OF / Carl Albert, OK / 2021A physically advanced 6-foot-2, 189-pound frame packed with strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a slightly up-tempo delivery with a high leg kick and abbreviated stride before finishing to the dish. Arm action drops straight down with a pause before coming through an over the top slot with length. Fastball shows some arm-side run at 78-79 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows rolling 1/7 strikes at 68-69 mph. In the game, struck out three of the five batters he faced in a quick inning of work. |
Bodie Nasalroad LHP / 1B / Edmond North , OK / 2021A very lean 5-foot-9, 145-pound frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a simple and average tempo delivery with rhythm showing a high leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing balanced. Arm action is long and fluid in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball flashed arm-side run at 75-78 mph, some strikes. Curveball has 1/7 shape with some late depth at 68-69 mph. |
Dax Sharp LHP / OF / Pryor, OK / 2021A lean and projectable 6-foot, 155-pound frame. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a short leg kick before striding to the plate and spinning off slightly to the third base side. Arm action is controlled with some length in the back before coming through an over the top slot with a recoil finish. Fastball keeps its plane at 75-80 mph, mostly strikes. Curveball has rolling action with 1/7 shape at 61-63 mph. |
Payton Tolle 1B / LHP / Bethany, OK / 2021A physically impressive 6-foot-9, 230-pound frame packed with strength and athleticism. On the mound, the left-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high and athletic leg kick before gliding down the mound and finishing to the third base side. Arm action is long in the back with a stab at the bottom of the arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm speed. Fastball keeps its plane at 80-83 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows rolling shape with 1/7 shape at 72-75 mph. Changeup has some fade at 75-78 mph. In the game, punched out two and get weak contact from the other three hitters, not allowing a hit. |
Parker Coil LHP / 1B / Edmond Memorial, OK / 2022A 6-foot-2, 165-pound lean and projectable frame with lots of room to add size and strength. On the mound, the left-hander works from a simple up tempo delivery with rhythm that he repeats well. Arm action is long, clean, and loose in the back before coming through a high-¾ slot with little effort. Fastball shows some downhill tilt with advanced command at 77-83 mph. Curveball shows some late depth with tight spin at 71-72 mph with advanced command. Changeup is throw with full arm speed showing heavy and late fade at 73-75, mostly stikes. |
