OK Sandlot All-American Scout Day Upgrades: 2020-2018 OFs

Prep Baseball Report Oklahoma teamed up with Sandlot All-American baseball for the second annual Scout Day Upgrade on May 19th-20th at Broken Arrow HS in Tulsa and Oklahoma Christian University in Edmond. Nearly 60 players from 2021-2018 class participated in the PBR upgrade. Each player participated in a pro style showcase to show their skills and record measurables in front the PBR staff.
Though many of the players covered below are talented two way players, they will be covered as outfielders today with pitchers analysis already on profiles.

Christian Clack LHP / OF / Edison Prep, OK / 2020A 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame with more room to add size and strength. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a wide, quiet, and slightly back leg heavy set-up. Uses big and smooth load with a short and quiet stride before launching his hands on a flat path through extension. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat approach finding mostly barrels with some bat speed, 84 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.2 second 60. Defensively, shows clean and confident actions charging the ball well. Throws from a moderate arm stroke coming through a high-¾ slot with some accuracy and high end arm strength at 90 mph from the outfield. |
Jaxson Crull OF / LHP / Bixby, OK / 2020A 5-foot-11, 160-pound lean frame with quick twitch actions. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a balanced and even set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a small load and moderate and quiet stride before launching his hands on a slightly uphill path through extension with a high finish. In BP, shows a gap to gap approach with some lift, shows consistent bat speed, mostly barrels, 87 mph exit velo. The best runner in his class in OK with a 6.5 second 60. Defensively, in the outfield, shows aggressive and quick twitch actions with excellent closing speed. Throws with a moderate arm stroke coming through an over the top slot with some carry and accuracy at 83 mph. |
Kenlee Hall RHP / OF / Collinsville , OK / 2019A 6-foot, 200-pound durable frame with strength throughout. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from an upright, slightly open, and back leg heavy set-up with slight rhythm in his hands. Uses a small and smooth load and leg lift before launching his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle to pull and flat approach, barreling almost every ball and showing barrel strength, 88 mph exit velo. Runs a 7.31 second 60. Defensively, shows confident and deliberate actions. Throws with a long arm stroke in the back, coming through an over the top slot with some accuracy at 83 mph from the outfield. |
Scout Huggins RHP / OF / Edison Prep, OK / 2020A physically impressive 6-foot-5, 230-pound frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a very wide and balanced set-up with some rhythm in his hands. Uses a moderate leg kick before sending his hands on a flat path to contact with a high finish. In BP, shows a middle of the field and flat approach, finding almost all barrels with barrel strength, 86 mph exit velo. Runs an 8.02 second 60. Defensively, shows deliberate and controlled actions. Benjamin MacNaughton OF / SS / Edmond North, OK / 2018A 6-foot-175-pound lean and athletic frame. Offensively, the right-handed hitter bats from a slightly open, athletic, and quiet set-up. Uses a smooth load, slight leg lift and short stride a getting to his front foot before launching his hands on a short and flat path to contact with a high finish. Janson Reeder OF / SS / Edmond North, OK / 2019A 6-foot-1, 190-pound muscular frame packed with strength throughout. Offensively, the left-handed hitter bats from a slightly open and balanced set-up with rhythm throughout. Uses a small leg lift and moderate stride before launching his hands with advanced bat speed and strength on a slightly uphill path through extension. In BP, shows and all fields approach with some lift and pop, almost all barrels, 92 mph extix velo. Runs a 6.76 60. Defensively, in the outfield, shows clean, confident, and athletic action.
