New Episode LIVE now! - At The Yard Podcast

LATHROP, CA. - The Norcal Underclass was our first day back on the field in California this summer and 41 players in the 2023/2024 classes came out to show us where they are at this stage of their development. We also rolled out our new technology devices, TrackMan and Blast Motion, giving us a more complete picture of each player.

Players were put through a customary pro-style workout that included a laser-timed 60-yard sprint (hand start, laser stop), a round of batting practice, defensive workouts at respective positions, and concluded with competitive at-bat sessions for pitchers and hitters. Each pitcher faced nice batters and each hitter got two competitive ABs.

Most of the kids were attending their first ever PBR California event giving us a first look at these players in a showcase setting. Many of them made a lasting impression and will be included in future rankings and be included to invite only type events for their grad class.
