LISTED IN ORDER OF MAX EXIT VELOCITY DURING THE BP ROUND
Max Harrison, Sonoma Valley (CA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/1B
Body: 6-1, 165-pounds. Long body with lean strength, frame with ample room for future size and strength gains.
Hit: RHH. Medium depth in box and off the plate, medium width feet starting slightly open, reverse move with lead leg out to long stride, hands stretch deep in the load, creating big separation. Lively slashing type swing, has all field ability with gap power, there is more in the tank due to back foot staying planted which limits hip rotation, has aggressive intent, pounded ball to oppo field, two hand finish.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, 68.4 max bat speed, 21.5 max hand speed.
Arm: RH. OF - 78 mph. Fairly compact arm action, angles front shoulder high which creates higher throws, ball comes out better than the resulting carry, generally accurate near the target with some tailing action.
Defense: Quiet smooth approach to ball, fairly quick release after getting to the ball, game play showed more urgency to ball and range that plays in the corner OF spots.
Run: 7.01 runner in the 60.
Mason Ferris, Woodcreek (CA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF
Body: 5-7, 155-pounds. Compact build on medium size frame, has present strength and muscularity.
Hit: RHH. Medium depth in box, slightly open in modest crouch, fairly balanced before shifting back over back leg with small lift to medium length stride, quiet rhythmic load with some depth and separation. Hands move slightly downward in load before firing, has barrel awareness and control, powerful hips in the stroke, creates some leverage against front side, surprising power given modest physical size.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, 69.7 max bat speed, 20.8 max hand speed.
Arm: RH. OF - 88 mph. Quick release, compact arm stroke, big arm with carry and accuracy to threaten the running game.
Defense: Reads ball early, sets up consistently to let fly his best throws, range potential is solid, plays the ball aggressively with clean glove skills.
Run: 7.06 runner in the 60.
Boston Costley, Inderkum (CA), 2025
Positional Profile: OF
Body: 5-9, 150-pounds. Lean strength and twitchy composition on medium sized body.
Hit: RHH. Tall set-up, medium width feet in even stance, bat held vertical off chest to start, smooth knee lift out to fairly firm stride foot landing, medium depth load. Lowers hands a bit from set-up position before firing to the ball, best when staying flat with top hand above the ball, can drive the ball, finishes in a reverse coil with weight shifting to his backside in a high two hand finish.
Power: 86 max exit velocity, 65.4 max bat speed, 20.6 max hand speed.
Arm: RH. OF - 88 mph. Powerful arm with release coming from compact backside arm action, gets lower body into the throw and drives back hip through.
Defense: Aggressive to the ball, gets in position to get ball underway with his top arm strength, footspeed clearly indicates range potential, makes decisive moves to the ball.
Run: 6.79 runner in the 60.
Austin Steeves, Casa Grande (CA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds. Athletically built with lean strength throughout, sinewy strength.

Power: 85 max exit velocity, 69.6 max bat speed, 23.5 max hand speed.
Arm: LH. OF - 84 mph. Long circular arm action, arm works easily, ball comes out clean, strong arm with throws having accuracy and tailing action given his slot and release.
Defense: Athletic and aggressive to the ball, fundamentally sound feet, reads ball well, maintains body control to and through reception.
