We present the winner for the 2021 NorCal Player of the Week for May 24-29, another repeat winner!

The season numbers for 2021 C Tanner Sagouspe of San Joaquin Memorial HS (#8 in our updated Power 25, went 3-0 last week, now 22-3 this season) are, as we pointed out last week, OUTSTANDING! To reiterate, here are the season numbes for the Cal Poly commit: 25 G, .536 (98 PA) 45-for-84, 10 HR, 42 RBI, 30 R, 8 2B, 3 3B, 5 BB, 7 K, 8 SB.

On the heels of earning this honor two weeks ago, he started this past week with a bang, going 4-for-4 (3 R, 7 RBI) with a 3 HR game on Tuesday 5/25 and we quoted... "Perhaps he's on his way to winning the honor two weeks in a row, a theme for this season." Well, he didn't stop with that game, he ended the week going 10-for-12 with 5 home runs and 10 RBI last week. Truly one of the hottest hitters in state as his team enters the CIF playoffs and that has led to him being selected once again.

For his outstanding performance last week, we once again congratulate Tanner Sagouspe of San Joaquin Memorial HS (Fresno) for being named the Prep Baseball Report Northern California Player of the Week for the week of May 24-29.

The more information you give us, the better... name, position, grad year, B/T, height/weight, college commitment (if applicable), along with the weekly stats. Please also include anything notable, such as the caliber of competition the player faced, the game circumstances that were affected, etc.
