We present the winner for the 2021 NorCal Player of the Week for May 10-15

2021 1B Blake Burke of De La Salle HS is the Northern California Player of the Week and making a push for consideration for 1st team all state and player of the year consideration. De La Salle has has won 11 games in a row and given the league they play and the non-conference competition they play, it's a very impressive streak, moving the Spartans to 18-4 for the season and back into our Power 25. In the middle of this great run has been Burke, the Tennesse bound slugger. In a 3-0 week for DLS, he impacted each of the games, going 3-for-3 on 5/11 (4 R, 2 HR, 6 RBI, 2 BB), 2-for-4 on 5/12 vs league rival Dougherty Valley (2 R, HR, 2B, RBI), and 3-for-4 again vs Dougherty Valley on 5/13 (HR, R, 2 RBI), which brought his week line to 8-for-11, 4 HR, 7 R, 9 RBI, 2B, 2 BB, while leaving only two runners on base, oh, and he chipped in a stolen base for good measure.

For his outstanding performances last week, we once congratulate Blake Burke of De La Salle HS (Concord, CA) for being named the Prep Baseball Report Northern California Player of the Week for the week of May 10-15.
