NorCal Player of the Week

LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - The regular season is winding down, with the playoffs just around the corner. Few things can be as beneficial to a team's playoff fortunes than one of their best players gettting hot at JUST the right time. For Clovis West, the week just turned in by 2023 1B Cayden Munster (Fresno State commit and MLB draft prospect) could very well be a preview of how far the Golden Eagles can go in the CIF-Central Section playoffs.

Last week in three games vs Buchanan HS, the left-handed hitting slugger (who showed 101.5 EV at the 2022 ProCase) did all he could, though ultimately Buchanan did win two of the three games. Clovis West will make the playoffs and they are only two games out of first place in the conference. A hot Munster makes them a team many other clubs will want to avoid.

As such, we have selected 2023 1B Cayden Munster of Clovis West HS as the NorCal Player of the Week for the week of April 24th - April 29th, 2023.
