New England had solid representation on the showcase circuit last summer, but one name emerged to be heads above the rest. That was RHP Matt Tabor (Milton Academy, MA), an Elon recruit. Whether or not he goes high enough to sign remains to be seen, but he is the lone prospect getting significant attention in New England. The rest will be reevaluated after they develop at the collegiate level.
25. Matt Tabor, RHP, Milton Academy, MATabor has a slight frame at 6-foot-1, 165 pounds, with some room to fill out and add strength. His stuff has been electric all spring. He hit 92 mph with every fastball at the Super 60 in February and has been sitting in the low 90s, bumping 95-96 at times.
