Nebraska Top Prospect Showcase- Instant Analysis

Prep Baseball Report's Nebraska Top Prospect Showcase event took place on Sunday, May 21, 2017. The event was held at Westside High School in Omaha, NE. The event featured prospects from the 2018-2020 classes who showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and multiple coaches in attendance.

The event featured players from the state of Nebraska and South Dakota. 

There were a number of great individual performances this year at the Nebraska Top Prospect Showcase.

As we drill down into the statistics:

+ 22 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+ 36 players recorded 85+ mph exit velocities
+ 16 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+ 12 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+ 14 catchers recorded 70+ mph throws to second base
+ 14 catchers recorded sub-2.1 pop times
+ 30 pitchers were 80+ mph on the mound
