Natural State Games: Unsigned Senior Spotlight
October 21, 2017
The Natural State Games are October 27th and 28th at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas. This event will feature some of the premiere talent from all corners of the state. As we move closer to the event, I wanted to highlight some of the players, to keep an eye on;
2018 LHP Evan Hiatt is newly on the market after he and Arkansas decided to part ways from his commitment. Hiatt is an advanced left-hander with a breaking ball which induces swing and misses on a consistent basis. Here is a review of his profile.

Scouting Report
5.23.17 All State Game
Hiatt is a 6-foot-1 180-pound left-hander with a wide frame and an average build. He shows an advanced feel to pitch with three pitches. His fastball worked 84-87 mph, his curveball was thrown 76-77 with 1/7 shape and late break, the change up was thrown 71-72 mph fastball arm speed and arm side run. Mechanically he does a sound job repeating his simple tall and fall delivery with easy effort and limited extension. Overall Hiatt is an advanced pitcher, that projects to throw harder as he physically matures.
