Scouting Report
NY Games (June 25-27, 2017)
Fall Prospect Games (October 11 & 12, 2015)
Stands at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, strong body build. He ran a 60 yard dash time of 7.78. Defensively – Behind the plate he receives the ball with smooth, soft hands and provides an open target for the pitcher. His footwork is quick out of the shoot and has a quick, clean transfer. He has a fluid arm motion and his pop times were consistently at 2.20 down to second base. He blocks the ball and keeps it in front of him. Had an arm strength of 74 mph. Offensively – At the plate he is very relaxed and balanced, a short stride, hands are behind his back shoulder to start, with a little back load. He swings on a level plane to the ball, with an upward angle through the ball. He gets good, full/long extension through the baseball and with a high finish. His exit velocity was 82 mph. He is a player who shows a lot of power potential as he continues through his high school years…lot of upside. Pitching - Just a really sound baseball player early on in his development. Spins a curveball with confidence at 67-71 mph with sharp bite, fastball was impressive for his age, feel for location and above average hand-speed topping 78 mph. Fagle has a chance to be a special player.
