The first fall weekend was upon us and there was talent on display at the beautiful North Main Complex in Holly Springs, NC for the South Atlantic Border Battle.  This event features players in the 2017 and 2018 graduate classes, from the Carolinas, Virginia and the mid-Atlantic states.  Teams were sponsored by Major League Baseball and coached by area scouts.  The NC area teams were sponsored by the Braves and Red Sox, but several players were playing for other areas to fill out rosters.  

Below is a quick recap of some of the highlights of the weekend, including recorded sixty times and pitchers’ velocities.  We will be updating our Fall Scout Blog with more detailed information on player performance, as well as updating player profiles with comments and video from the weekend.
