With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR North Carolina is anticipating a great spring.  This is the first year of coverage for PBR during the high school season.  In the coming weeks and months, PBR will report on games, players, conference races and the state tournament.  It is the aim of PBR North Carolina to become your #1 source for high school baseball.

What to Watch For

Expectations remain high for Whiteville despite losing 7 seniors and their entire outfield from a team that played for the state championship.  The reason for optimism from Coach Harwood resides on the mound where the Wolfpack return their top three arms from a staff that posted a 1.05 ERA in 2016.  The top arm, MacKenzie Gore, is capable of handling the expectations and leading Whiteville down the stretch.
