With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR North Carolina is anticipating a great spring.  This is the first year of coverage for PBR during the high school season.  In the coming weeks and months, PBR will report on games, players, conference races and the state tournament.  It is the aim of PBR North Carolina to become your #1 source for high school baseball.

What to Watch For

The Wolverines enter 2017 looking to get back into the post-season in the always tough Cap 8.  Versatility with the lineup, with athleticism, will give Coach Keown plenty of options throughout the year.  Wakefield returns five arms with varsity experience… they also have six left handed options that could allow them to create matchups with opponents throughout the year.  Young players and their development could key a run to May and June.
