With the 2017 spring season right around the corner, PBR North Carolina is anticipating a great spring.  This is the first year of coverage for PBR during the high school season.  In the coming weeks and months, PBR will report on games, players, conference races and the state tournament.  It is the aim of PBR North Carolina to become your #1 source for high school baseball.

What to Watch For

The Patriots have depth on the mound and chance to score runs quickly.  Returning five arms that saw action last year, along with Senior Zach Martinez who will  continue to get stronger with each outing, there should be some confidence Pinecrest will be in every game.  The lineup has a chance to be physical, scoring runs quickly when opponents make mistakes.  If Coach Hewitt’s club catches the ball, they will contend again at a very high level.
