Saturday April 29th
Garner Edges Durham Jordan
A Saturday non-conference match-up pitted two teams with a lot of underclass talent on display. Garner scored twice in the third, and held on as both teams played well defensively.

Friday April 28th
Big Innings Propel Charlotte Christian to Series Win
On Friday, Charlotte Christian visited Providence Day to cap off their three game series, with each team taking their home game earlier in the week. Providence Day would strike first, setting the tone on the mound and in the box. Charlotte Christian would fight back, scoring four in the third, all with two outs, to take control of the game and series.

Keys to the Game:
Charlotte Christian
+ Posted a 4 run third with two outs, stringing together six consecutive hits
+ Siverling entered the game with 2 outs in the first, relieving JT Killen. Sitting 79-82 throughout, Siverling stabilized the game, throwing strikes and getting weak contact.
+ 5 Run fifth was propelled by a Reid Mayers double and Drew Donathan 2-Run HR to dead center field. All with 2 outs.
Providence Day
+ Chased the Knights starting pitcher with 3 consecutive singles to open the game, followed by a SAC Fly, 2 walks and a HBP, leading to 3 runs
+ Justin Murray threw 77% strikes, working ahead of 23 of the 30 batters he faced. Five of his six strikeouts came the first time through the order, each on a breaking ball.
+ Zach Iverson worked the final 2.2 innings on the bump. Young Harris commit was up to 89, giving up just 1 ER in the outing.
Panther Creek Over Apex
The Catamounts of Panther Creek jumped out early and exploded for six more runs in the fourth and fifth innings putting the game away. Panther Creek pounded out thirteen hits in the 9-3 win.
