Throng of Scouts Watch at West Forsyth Upends North Davidson
The MLB Scout tour returned to North Carolina this week as Austin Beck (OF, 2017) of North Davidson played Thursday at home vs. West Forsyth. The scouting contingent will make their way east on Friday to see Whiteville HS and lefty MacKenzie Gore (LHP, 2017).
West Forsyth matched Beck’s star-power with NC A&T commit Gianni Smith (RHP, 2018) on the mound. Smith has garnered some attention this spring has his stuff has taken a jump and he has been very efficient on the mound.
