The top prospect in West Virginia’s Class of 2016, Goodnight had a busy summer. The Penn State recruit was selected to the World Wood Bat all-tournament team after going 11-for-24 for USA Elite. His performance led to an invitation to the Perfect Game Underclass All-American Games in San Diego. Recently, Goodnight competed at the USA Baseball NTIS in Cary, NC as part of the Mid-Atlantic 17U Team.
Goodnight is ranked No. 62 in the PBR combined rankings for the Class of 2016. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder committed to Penn State during the fall of his sophomore season.
