No. 1 Blayne Enlow
PBR Notes: Louisiana State recruit, currently ranked No. 1 in Louisiana’s 2017 class, and No. 2 overall in PBR’s national rankings. Lean 6-foot-3, 165-pound frame, long limbs, projects to add size and strength, displays solid average athletic ability from the mound. One of the premier arms in the entire 2017 drafts class. Clean, easy arm action with lightning quick arm speed into a high-3/4 release with little effort. Smooth rhythm with level shoulders, in-line direction, lands square and athletic. Fastball sit 89-92 mph, touching 94 mph with occasional heavy sink and shows quality command. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with sharp, late break, tight spin and deception at 78-82 mph, arguably one of the better breaking balls in the 2017 class. Also will flash a changeup with fastball arm speed and fade action at 81-83 mph.
