Missouri Recruiting Notebook

Several Missouri prospects have named their schools recently:
+ Trey Vickers, a 2014 MIF from Rockhurst HS, has committed to Wichita State. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Vickers is currently ranked No. 25 in Missouri’s 2014 class, 210 overall.
+ RHP/SS Clayton McGinness, a Class of 2015 RHP/SS from Savannah HS, has committed to Wichita State. The two-way talent has made a significant leap in velocity; recently Kansas scouting director Sean McCann saw McGinness working at an easy 88 mph.
+ Mitchell Plassmeyer, a LHP from has committed to Kansas State. The projectable 6-foot-4, 180-pound Plassmeyer is currently ranked No. 54 in Missouri’s 2014 class.
+ Trey Baur, a 3B/RHP from MICDS HS, has committed to Cornell University. The 6-foot-5, 215-pound two-way talent is currently ranked No. 22 in Missouri’s 2014 class.
+ Troy Newell, a 6-foot-4, 180-pound LHP from Francis Howell Central HS, has committed to Lindenwood University.
+ Zach Laffleur, a LHP Ft. Zumwalt South HS, has committed to Maryville College.
