Ben Beckman was outstanding on the mound going 7 innings, allowing 1 hit, 0 runs, 3 walks and collecting 87 strikeouts. Sam Sonaglia, Blake Germain, Zach Rustad and Kevin Fanning each had 2 hits for Blaine.
Minnetonka 7 Maple Grove 2
Jacob Raether picked up the win on mound pushing his record to 2-0. Raether went 5.1 innings and allowed 5 hits, 2 runs, 3 walks and had 7 strikeouts. Jimmy Ramsey was 2-4 with a run scored and an RBI and Jack Kuzma had a big game going 2-3 with a run scored and 3 RBI's.
St. Michael-Albertville 8 Buffalo 0
Tyler Berg and Jake Bloomstrand each had 2 hits; Berg and Hunter Wilcox had 2 RBI's as well. Jaylen Hakes was dominant on the mound throwing 7 innings and allowing 5 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk and had 7 strikeouts.
Eden Prairie 4 Wayzata 1
Despite being out-hit in the contest; Eden Prairie rebounded from Tuesday night loss to Minnetonka to beat Wayzata 4-1. Wesley Young was 2-4 with a run scored and Josh Miller had 2 RBI's. Joe Fahning continues to pitch well; Fahning threw a complete game allowing 8 hits, 1 run, 1 walk and collected 10 strikeouts.
Breck 16 Mounds Park 4
Breck erupted for 16 runs on 22 hits to win Wednesday. Jeremy Burton was 4-5 with 4 runs scored and 3 RBI's; Will Culliton was 5-5 with 3 runs scored and 3 RBI's.
Chanhassen 14 Robbinsdale Cooper 0
Cole Kirchoff and TJ Hokanson each had 3 hits; Ty Denzer and Cullen McNeill each had 3 RBI's as Chanhassen rolled to a 14-0 win. Logan Graves scattered 5 hits over 6 innings to pick up the victory on the mound striking out 1 and walking 2.
Woodbury 7 Roseville 6
Woodbury won 7-6 in 10 innings on Wednesday. Ronnie Sweeny was 3-5 with 2 runs scored and an RBI; Sebastian Holte-Mancera and Jacob Dickmeyer each had 2 hits as well. Max Meyer was 1-3 with 3 RBI's. Nolan Glunz picked up the win in relief and Max Meyer came in to pick up the save.
East Ridge 7 White Bear Lake 1
Alex Pape was 2-3 with a run scored and 2 RBI's and Cal Kellner was 2-2 with 2 runs scored. Senior shortstop Sam Cobbs had 2 RBI's as well. Kellner picked up the win on the mound throwing 5 innings and limiting White Bear Lake to 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk and picked up 5 strikeouts.
Farmington 8 Eagan 7
Farmington beat Eagan in 11 innings on Wednesday. The teams combined for 31 hits in the contest. Christian Groves, Austin Martinsen and Dylan Bergstad each had 3 hits in the game. Reed Collins was excellent in relief throwing 7 innings and allowed 9 hits, 2 runs, 0 walks and 6 strikeouts.
Shakopee 9 Prior Lake 8
Matt Theis was 4-4 and Tyler Sloss, Dominic Schleif and Josh Hewett each had 2 hits to pace Shakopee over Prior Lake. Nick Vaage was 3-3 with 2 runs scored and Jacob Hitz was 3-4 with a run scored and 4 RBI's. Catcher Tommy Keating was 2-2 as well in a losing effort.
