With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Mechanicsburg Indians
Team Name: Mechanicsburg Indians
Head Coach: Bryan Eyink
Division: III
2017 Record: 13-9
Conference Record: Ohio Heritage Conference, 5-7-1, 7th Place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 4/4
2018 Team Strengths:
- Baseball Knowledge
- Hard Working
- Defense
Coach Outlook: Only returning four starters of off last year’s team, (three sophomore's and one senior). We will have some growing pains, but this will be a very talented young group and they will be exciting to watch.
PBR Outlook: Mechanicsburg and head coach Bryan Eyink make a move back up to Division III for the 2018 season. Look for the young Indians to make improvement as the season goes along with the hope of playing their best ball come tournament time.
